
Dennis A. Healey of Palm Coast, FL, beloved husband of Beth Branick, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at his home alongside his wife and other loving family and friends. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, but he called Virginia his home. He was the son of John F. Healey and Gertrude (Dragon) Healey who pre-deceased him. Dennis served in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S. Damato DDE. After his naval service, Dennis worked for several years at IBM, NASA, and EDS. He spent the most enjoyable years of his career at Toys ‘R Us in Paramus New Jersey, retiring as SVP and Chief Information Officer.
After retirement, Dennis and Beth relocated from New Jersey to the Grand Haven community in Palm Coast, Florida, where they resided for the last twenty years. Dennis had a love of sailing, sports cars, gardening, cooking, traveling and golf. Among his many golfing accomplishments, he was the Men’s Club Champion at Grand Haven Golf Club and had two holes-in- one. In his later years, his favorite pastimes were dining with his Wednesday morning breakfast group and taking Dakota, the family dog, for car rides. Dennis will be remembered by family and friends for his kindness, warmth, generosity, and unmatched wit.
In addition to his loving wife Beth of 20 plus years, Dennis is survived by his daughter Paige Healey of Mahwah, NJ, his sister Shirley Larsen of Fernandina Beach, FL, his brother in-in- law Richard Branick of Newton, NJ, his mother-in- law Mary Branick of Manchester, NJ, and several nieces and nephews.
